The easy to use touchscreen on the KIC Bookedge steps users through scanning documents, photos, or books with the option to email, save to USB or print the scans. The PDFs have Optical Character Recognition (OCR) and there is a text-to-speech option where users can send their scans as an audio file. Additionally, a fax service is also available on this device! Traditional flatbed scanners are also available on the main floor and third floor next to public computers.
A large format flatbed scanner is available by appointment in the UMN Morris Archives.
