Briggs Library Card

Students, faculty, and staff must use their U-Cards to check out library materials. In the case of loss or theft of this card, replacements may be obtained at the U-Card office in 205 Behmler Hall. Community residents may obtain a Briggs Library card by completing a registration form at the Briggs Library circulation desk. The signature of a parent or guardian is required for community borrowers under the age of 18. All patrons are responsible for items checked out to their unique bar code unless the library is notified of the theft or loss of the card.

Circulation

The circulation desk is the main service point for the library and is where patrons can check out materials, receive interlibrary loan items, and pick up printing. Patrons may also ask for assistance with locating items or help with using the public computers.

Copyright Assistance

Understanding copyright guidelines can be a daunting task. Sometimes it can be difficult to determine what is copyright protected and what is in the public domain. The resources on this page and in the Related Links can help.
