Rhiannon Glazier is a recipient of a Briggs Library Associates Art Award for her piece Mushroom Ladies at the Senior Art Exhibit. It was created using a process called linoleum relief printmaking.

The Studio Art major draws inspiration from nature. "I love studying specific plants I feel are not well acknowledged or appreciated and exploring their complexities through printmaking," Glazier explained. "[In the piece Mushroom Ladies] I was exploring organic mushrooms and trying to create a psychedelic environment where they could thrive."

After graduation she plans on moving to Saint Paul for work. She is originally from Dell Rapids South Dakota.

The Briggs Library Associates Art Award is given at the Juried Art Exhibit and Senior Art Show to recognize excellence. Funds for the purchase of the student-produced art come from the Rodney A. Briggs Library Associates. The chosen pieces hang permanently in Briggs Library.
