New Black Studies Databases

Briggs Library has several new primary source databases related to Black Studies.

History Vault: Includes the modules NAACP Papers and Black Freedom Struggle in the 20th Century which chronicle the local heroes of the civil rights revolution in the NAACP branches from 1913-1972 as well as political primary source records from the freedom movement.

Black Studies Center: Includes the International Index to Black Periodicals (IIBP), Chicago Defender backfiles (1910-1975) the Black Literature Index (1827-1945) and the Black Abolitionist Papers (1830-1865).
