Enhancement grant award winners were announced at the recent Briggs Library Associates Annual Meeting. Titles totaling up to $500 for each award will be added to Briggs Library and displayed on the main floor.

  • Art History Goes to the Movies- Julia Dabbs
  • Creative Writing and the Troubadours-  Lisa Bevevino
  • Law, Constitutionalism and Legal Studies- Tim Lindberg
  • Medieval Studies- Jimmy Schryver, Lisa Bevevino, Janet Ericksen
  • Mindfulness and Yoga- Angelina Berlinger & Kellie Meehlhause
  • Teaching and Social Issues- Kiel Harell and Sara Lam
  • Women Composers from A-Z- Ann DuHamel

In addition, the Briggs Library Associates Board held an election of new officers. Sara Haugen was elected the new Vice-President, Chris Butler Secretary and Katrina Tirevold Member-at-large.

To close the evening professor Lisa Bevevino presented a program entitled Quests, Quails, and Custard: Medieval French Food where she detailed the role of food and literature as explored in her Medieval and Early Modern Studies course.
