Briggs Library will be closed until further notice. Librarians are available via Ask A Librarian to answer questions remotely. 

Vital services

The library will continue to offer a variety of services during the online instruction period.

  • Course Reserve with its eReserve component, can help facilitate online access to class resources.
  • Ask A Librarian reference services will be available to answer questions.

Interlibrary Loan Services 

Interlibrary loan services are available for articles and physical items though processing requests may take longer than usual. 
Contact the library with questions about specific situations.  

Information Literacy Instruction Support 

Librarians are willing to meet with information literacy and research classes via Zoom. Contact Peter Bremer for more information.

Online Resources

Briggs Library has a host of materials that can be accessed remotely. eBooks can be discovered through the Briggs Library Pounce catalog or searched directly through Ebook Central. Streaming videos are available through the databases Academic Video Online and Docuseek2. In addition, the library offers more than 120 other subscription databases which can be found in our A-Z list. If you have questions about accessing online resources, please Ask a Librarian!
